Cleaning in Seven Kings (IG3)
We provide domestic, end-of-tenancy and commercial cleaning across Seven Kings and the wider IG3 area. That includes the turn-of-the-century terraces north of the High Road, the flats above its shops and the bungalows in the conservation area. Our cleaners are vetted and insured. They bring their own supplies and equipment unless you’d rather we used yours, and every job starts with a checklist agreed for your property.
Call us or send a few details about the property and what needs doing. We’ll come back with a free, no-obligation quote.
Terraces, bungalows and flats over the shops
Much of Seven Kings north of the High Road was laid out by Cameron Corbett as a suburban estate. Early residents nicknamed it Klondyke. Plenty of those terraced houses still keep their bay windows, picture rails and narrow hallways. They clean well, but they need some planning. Stairs and banisters take time, older tiled paths and hall floors need a suitable product, and bay windows collect dust in corners a quick wipe misses.
The Bungalow Estate conservation area is different again. Homes there date from the 1920s and 1930s, and many have original timber windows. We keep abrasive pads and harsh chemicals off painted frames and sills. If you’d like eco-friendly products, we’ll check they suit your surfaces first.
Flats above High Road shops usually mean a shared entrance and no lift. We’ll ask about the stairs, where to put equipment and whether neighbours need notice. Plenty of residents commute on the Elizabeth line from Seven Kings station. Our regular home cleaning follows the priorities you set, so the jobs that matter most get done while you’re out. Oven interiors, carpet extraction and external windows aren’t part of a routine visit. We’ll quote for them separately.
Tenancy handovers in a licensed ward
Seven Kings ward is covered by Redbridge’s Selective Licensing Scheme 4. It runs from 8 April 2024 to 7 April 2029 and covers most private rented homes. Landlords and agents here are used to keeping records, and tenants are usually working to a fixed move-out date.
Our end of tenancy cleaning is built around your inventory or the agent’s cleaning requirements, so the checklist matches what will be inspected. We focus on the areas that most often get flagged:
- kitchen cupboards inside and out, the hob and extractor, plus the oven if booked
- limescale on taps, shower screens and bathroom tiles
- skirting boards, doors, switches and window sills
- inside empty wardrobes and drawers
We can’t repair wear, scuffs or damage, and we can’t guarantee a deposit return. What we can do is check the work before we leave. If you report a missed task promptly, we’ll put it right. We’ll confirm re-clean eligibility and the reporting window when you book.
Shops and offices along the High Road
The High Road through Seven Kings is lined with independent shops, food businesses and small offices above street level. Most can’t close for cleaning, so we plan visits around your opening hours where possible. That usually means early mornings, evenings or your quietest day. A short walkthrough helps us price accurately and agree priorities such as customer-facing floors, washrooms and staff kitchens. For workplaces, our office cleaning can run on a schedule that suits your team.
Parking, keys and access in IG3
Some streets are in a controlled parking zone. There, our vehicle may need to stay longer than loading takes. In that case Redbridge requires the resident to arrange a visitor permit, because tradespeople can’t buy one themselves. We’ll raise this when you book so the clean can start on time.
We agree keys, alarm codes and arrival times in advance. Let us know about pets, allergies or delicate finishes before the visit. Short-notice slots depend on availability, so get in touch early if your move-out falls at the end of the month.
Tell us about your Seven Kings home, rental or business and we’ll put together a clear, agreed plan. Call 020 4652 5129 or send details through our contact page.
